Trip Summary and Weather:

Day 0:

It rained most of the day on Friday, which made for extremely wet conditions for round 1 on Saturday.

Day 1:

We started round 1 (at the Pine) with some lite drizzle, which cleared until about the 7^th hole. After 8 ½ holes, we were moved off the course due to a Tornado warning! That was the end of golf for day 1. We had dinner at Mt. Pleasant’s Mountain Town Station, then off Soaring Eagle casino.

Day 2:

Round 2 (Pohlcat) was overcast with a few peeks of sun. But it was warm and humid. Much of the course was flooded due to the preceding rain and it was cart path only. We had dinner at Kuji Hibachi Japanese steakhouse. Some went back to hang at the hotel and others went to the casino.

Day 3:

Round 3 (Bucks Run) was partly sunny to mostly cloudy thru the day. It was very warm and humid again. The course was wet. All par 3’s and a number of other holes were cart path only. This combined with the carts going into limp-home mode when taken off approved cart areas, made for a slow round. We had dinner at the course, calculated the results, presented the prizes, said our goodbyes and headed home to prepare to 2022.

No big winner this year, but Marv won the highest @ $45.
